At Color Hub, privacy is built into our products by design. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process, why we process it, and your choices. It applies to our website colorhub.online and Color Hub applications (the "Services"). Some products may have their own privacy policy; when they do, that policy governs that product.

What data we process

1) When you contact support

We process your email address and the content of your message to respond and keep a record of the request.

2) On the website

  • We do not use marketing analytics or tracking on the website and do not profile visitors.
  • Short-lived technical logs (IP address, user-agent, URL, timestamp) may be processed to ensure security and site reliability.
  • Third-party assets: we load fonts from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. These providers receive your IP address and browser information when assets are requested. We do not use this data for marketing.

3) In the apps

  • Accounts: some apps may require an account to enable certain features; others may not.
  • Diagnostics and analytics: our apps use analytics and crash reporting services (including Sentry for crash diagnostics) to improve stability and understand aggregate usage. This information is not used for third-party marketing or profiling.
  • Permissions: if an app requests access to device features (e.g., camera or photos), it is only to provide in-app functionality and only with your permission. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings.

Legal bases for processing

  • Contract — to provide and support the Services you use.
  • Legitimate interests — to secure our Services, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability.
  • Consent — for optional features and device permissions where required by law. You may withdraw consent in your device/app settings.
  • Legal obligations — to comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.

Sharing and processors

We use service providers that process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards and instructions, including:

  • Hosting: Firebase Hosting (Google) for the colorhub.online website.
  • Fonts: Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) for webfont delivery.
  • App analytics and diagnostics: analytics services and Sentry (crash reporting) used within our apps.

Your data may be transferred to countries outside your own (including the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

Retention and security

  • Support correspondence is retained as long as necessary to resolve the issue and meet legal requirements.
  • We apply technical and organizational measures to protect personal data; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for marketing or analytics on the website. The site may set strictly necessary technologies for security and basic functionality.

  • Consent banner: we store your banner choice (accepted/rejected) in your browser's local storage so the banner doesn't keep appearing. This is strictly necessary.
  • No optional cookies: we do not set analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies on the website. Choosing "Accept all" or "Reject all" only affects the visibility of the banner; there are no optional cookies to toggle today. If that changes, we will ask for consent again.
  • Third-party assets: embedded webfonts are loaded from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. These providers receive your IP address and browser information when assets are requested and may use their own storage according to their policies. We do not use these for marketing or profiling.

Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g., EU/EEA/UK under GDPR; California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:

  • access your data and obtain a copy;
  • rectify inaccurate data;
  • erase data ("right to be forgotten");
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • data portability.

Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
